Dinner is where a little planning saves the most trouble. A group can split up for coffee or change its lunch plan. It is harder to find a table for everyone once the evening rush has started.
[Café Thirty-A](https://cafethirtya.com/) is the clear choice when you want a planned sit-down dinner in Seagrove. Its official site says reservations are required and dinner starts daily at 4:30 p.m. The restaurant is at 3899 East Scenic Highway 30A.
The menu covers seafood, steaks, pasta, and smaller plates. That range can help when one group wants different things. The tradeoff is simple. This is not the night to wait until late afternoon and hope a table opens.
[Surfing Deer](https://surfingdeer.com/) is another reservation dinner near the 30A and Highway 395 intersection. Its current schedule lists dinner from 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with Sunday closed. The site links directly to online booking.
That Sunday closure matters. It is easy to build a plan around a restaurant name and miss one line on the hours page. Check the live schedule before promising the group where dinner will be.
[Old Florida Fish House](https://www.oldfloridafishhouse.com/reservation) sits on Eastern Lake and serves lunch and dinner. Its official reservation page says online booking is the best method. The restaurant also posts live entertainment, so check its event calendar if music would help or hurt the plan for your group.
Pick one of these dinners before filling in the rest of the day. The reservation becomes the fixed point. Everything else can move around weather, beach time, and how hungry people actually are.
Decide what kind of breakfast you need
Some mornings call for coffee and something quick. Others need eggs, a table, and time for everyone to wake up.

Choose it when breakfast is part of the day's plan, not when everyone wants to reach the beach quickly.
If the day already includes Seaside, [Black Bear Bread Co.](https://blackbearbreadco.com/locations/) can combine breakfast with that outing. Its Seaside shop serves naturally leavened bread, pastries, coffee, and breakfast and lunch dishes. The official locations page currently lists daily hours from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There is little reason to drive into Seaside only for coffee, leave, and then return later for shops or dessert. Put those stops together and deal with parking once.
Keep lunch easy
Lunch does not need the same planning as dinner. It should fit around the beach, the weather, and the group's energy.
[Seagrove Village MarketCafé](https://seagrovevillagemarket.com/) is a useful casual option near Highway 395 and 30A. Its menu includes seafood baskets, burgers, po'boys, tacos, salads, and kids' choices. It also offers pickup ordering when the group would rather eat at the house.
The current schedule lists 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Sunday ends earlier at 2:30 p.m. That shorter Sunday is worth checking before you set out for a late lunch.
Takeout is often the better answer after a long beach morning. It avoids asking tired children or hungry adults to wait for another table. It also gives everyone the option to shower first and eat at a normal pace.

It serves ice cream, gelato, strawberry shortcake, cookies, and coffee. It fits naturally after an afternoon in the town center.
